ok so there are gonna be errors and words where they shouldn't be so bear w/ it until its edited. basically Yakuta has a physical form close to that of a human with thick metal armor plating. John's swords sheaths are katana-shaped. *John's a human with shaggy brown hair and light blue eyes* so bear w/ the errors and enjoy<33
"John wait," a voice came from behind, John turned to see Hakue walked up to him. He led John into an abandoned part of the gym and talked quietly making sure nobody could hear.
"And his opponent for the chance to face Kakue, John Mal!" The announcer called him out, and only a second late he jogged up to the arena and waved to the crowd; they in turn cheered for his death. He glared at Yamek when the match began and neither fighter moved; each tempting the other for the first attack.
John took the dare and bolted towards Yamek, who stood calmly and waited. The fist attack to Yamek's head was blocked with a thick forearm, and still in the air John swiveled his hip and brought the back of his left foot to the arm and kicked it away and followed up my slamming his other foot into Yamek's head. Yamek fell to his right and slid on the arena to the edge of the arena, stood up and acted as if nothing had happened.
John growled and faded away, only to quickly reappear at Yameks feet, held him back parallel to the ground with both arms bent back and kicked with both feet and Yameks to push the support out from under and have Yamek fall forward. He pushed up on his right hand and used the spiral momentum to bring his right knee to the back of Yameks head and thrust it into the ground. The large body flopped on the ground a few times in the small crater and John stood up and patted off some dust from this shirt. Yamek wobbled up and looked at John to reveal a scar covered his left eye, and a liquid gel filled it in and replaced the scar with the eye; his regeneration speed was faster than Dan's. Taking a few steps away, John looked horrified as the monster Yamek took one step at a time towards him with an evil grin across his face. In a sudden reaction in fear, John pulled the Yemesi from his left hip with his right hand and cut straight through Yameks gut. Blood poured from the wound, no blood on the blade, before the regeneration could fix the wound.
Yamek bent over and covered the wound with both arms and waiting for it to be repaired. For a split second, John saw the surprise in Yameks eyes and figured out that it wasn’t the attack the surprised him, but that the blade had cut his armor. John jumped back to the far end of the arena as Yamek punched wildly trying to hit him. Blinded by anger, Yamek had lost the advantage and John had gained a strategy. The wild attacked continued for a few seconds until John jumped straight into the air and brought the Yemesi into a circle under his bent legs and cut Yameks right arm off at the shoulder. Yamek howled in pain and fell back and grasped his wound; green blood endlessly pouring out onto the cement arena.
John drifted to the ground and transformed the Yemesi into its straight-bladed shape and stared at Yamek; looking into the fear and pain. Liquid gel oozed out of the wound and formed Yameks right hand before he stood and grinned. I have to find the part he's protecting the most, and attack it with everything I've got, John thought.
"Face it," Yamek grinned. "There's no chance of you winning this match; you're as good as dead."
"Unless of course you die first." John shrugged. "I just have to find that damned regeneration sphere of yours."
"Mine isn’t like your friends arm, his is just a prototype and I am the real thing."
"Oh really?" John pulled the sword to the side of his head and pointed the blade at Yamek, while turning to his left side and pushed his right foot forward. "Come and get it!" he grinned.
Yamek ran towards John as he switched the position of his legs and bent his right knee down a little further and used it to push his body forward. John flipped the Yemesi so the blade was pointing back and brought it around his left side and slice all the way through Yameks gut again as his body flew past. The dust of smoke from where John had taken off settled and revealed a quivering hand. The crowd became dead silent as Yamek let out a scream of pure horror.
His two halves lay on the ground only inches apart, shaking in short intervals. Blood poured onto the arena and dripped from Yameks mouth. John stood at Yameks feet and stared into the upper body. A small glow appeared just enough for John to notice before gel seeped from the upper body half and slid to the outside of his waist and pulled them towards him and made Yamek whole again. It wasn't much, but I saw it! John thought as he figured out where the sphere was in his body, and the hard part was pin-pointing it for attack.
Yamek struggled to his feet and faced John. After a short glare both of the stepped to the ends of the arena and waited for the other to attack again.
Without further hesitation, John leaped straight into the air, pulled his right arm as far back as he could and pointed the tip of the blade at Yameks chest. Using his best aim, John threw his weapon like a bullet through the air. When the tip of the blade hit Yamek in the chest, it froze and a thin red and white beam of light shot out from it. Yamek screamed as he bent his spine backwards, wind blowing from the swords and blew dust from the arena and continued. Slowly, the light widened as the blade pushed forward and the scream intensified. When the light stopped its growth shortly, John knew it wouldn’t reach it in time. He flew towards Yamek and slammed his right fist into the end of the Yemesi, the light grew for a second and the wind blew back his hair harder now. John yelled as the pushed against the blade harder, and the light finally shone in a flat circle from the wound acting as a circular wall in front of Yamek.
After a quick blade-through-flesh sound, the light diminished and green blood dripped to the ground like a faucet that was barely on. Something cracked.
John backed up and looked at the damage; Yamek stared to the sky with water in his alien eyes, the Yemesi's blade stuck in his chest. Another cracking sound. He walked over and yanked the sword out of Yameks body and let the body sway in the motionless air. After one final crack, the red-white light shot from both sides and turned off in a flash. Yamek held his right hand near the front of his face and stared at it as it turned to grey ash and was being swept up by the swirling wind. His body faded to grey and swept away from the chest and out in a dome around the sphere.
